About the Role

We are seeking a Tenancy Site Coordinator at The Globe to join our Housing Operations Team on a permanent part-time basis (26.6 hours/week, 0.7 FTE). You will provide on-site tenancy and property coordination to ensure a safe, supportive, and well-managed environment for residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing leases, rent, and tenant reviews;
  • Handling enquiries and applications from prospective tenants;
  • Supporting and engaging with residents;
  • Delivering front-line telephone and counter services;
  • Coordinating site caretaking, maintenance, and safety; and
  • Performing general administration to maintain efficient operations.

This 0.7 FTE role (26.6 hours/week) has core hours of 9.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday (25 hours/week), with remaining hours worked flexibly as agreed with your manager.

About You

You bring strong administrative skills, especially across Microsoft products, and hold a valid Property Management Registration with experience in property management—ideally with site management experience. You learn quickly, work independently, and take a proactive approach to improving processes and tenant engagement. Approachable and service-minded, you enjoy supporting residents and managing your responsibilities autonomously. You are self-motivated, ready to step up and eager to take ownership of this important role within the team.

  1. Proven experience in the property management sector with current and practical understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act, SACAT and professional standards in the industry.
  2. High level of administration experience and advanced computer skills, including the use of data bases, web-based applications and Microsoft Suite, ideally gained in a housing or real estate environment.
  3. Ability to work efficiently and independently to meet work targets and deadlines with minimal supervision and be able to work in a collaborative and proactive manner with flexibility to support team and colleagues.
  4. Experience working with people with challenging behaviours and empathy for people with multiple and complex barriers to sustaining a successful tenancy.
  5. High level of interpersonal skills and ability to establish professional relationships with key agency stakeholders to facilitate collaborative effort for identified client need/support.
  6. Knowledge and practical understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements that relate to site management alongside complex tenants

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Tenancy Administrator to join our Boarding House Team on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day management of our Boarding House. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering rental agreements, rent reviews and managing rent arrears
  • Managing tenancy documentation and processes
  • Supporting financial tasks such as payments and data entry
  • Coordinating facility maintenance and services
  • Management of our vacancy processes

This position forms part of an on-call roster and may require availability outside standard business hours to respond to urgent matters for which an allowance is paid.

About You

You are an organised, proactive administrator with experience in housing, tenancy management, or property administration. You are confident in managing tenancy documentation, coordinating maintenance, processing payments, and using IT systems. You work well with people with complex needs, have strong attention to detail, and troubleshoot issues effectively. You communicate well, handle difficult conversations with care, and bring flexibility to support the needs of a 24/7 site. You value both autonomy and collaboration in your work.

  • Demonstrated experience in office administration within a tenancy management environment.
  • Experience in dealing professionally and empathetically with people in a variety of potentially difficult situations and/or with a background of homelessness
  • Capacity to work harmoniously and co-operatively as a member of a team
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and sound judgement
  • Strong computing skills, including experience and understanding of a range of computer system packages such as Excel, Word and Access
  • Proven ability to proactively manage rent arrears, and support tenants in addressing housing-related debt.
