About the Role
We are currently seeking two (2) Customer Service Advisors to join our Customer Care Centre Team.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Customer Service Advisor’s responsibilities include:
- Phone support for Unity’s tenants and customers.
- High level of first contact resolution in a passionate, customer-focused approach.
- Service delivery support, to ensure continuity of service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting a positive working environment to inspire strong team cohesion.
About You
You are a customer-focused professional with relevant experience in social housing, or property management. You can not only demonstrate experience, but also excel in effective communication with tenants, including those with complex needs. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability to change, and commitment to continuous improvement will be key assets in this role. If you possess a friendly and helpful phone manner along with a proven track record in the social housing sector, we want to hear from you.

- Demonstrated knowledge of the social housing landscape, including policies, programmes, and initiatives.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service with a collaborative and solution-focused approach.
- Empathetic and considerate understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness, diverse cultural backgrounds, disabilities, mental illness, older individuals, or those with complex needs.
- Advanced administrative and computer skills, with proven experience in Microsoft, tenancy databases, and the Single Housing Register.
- Proficiency in creating clear and concise written communications, including reports and correspondence and maintaining accurate and detailed documentation.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and adapt quickly to new challenges.
