About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Housing Administration Hub on a full-time (1.0FTE) basis. Reporting directly to the Housing Admin Hub Coordinator, the Administration Officer contributes to and supports a highly responsive and professional tenancy and property management administration service. This is an integral team role providing high-level administrative and service delivery support to ensure continuity of service to Unity’s clients.

About You

You can demonstrate previous experience providing impeccable administrative support with fast and accurate data entry as part of a wider range of office and organisational tasks. Experience in the social housing and/or private property management sector is desirable but not essential.

  1. Proven administration experience within an office environment. An example of tasks include but are not limited to: Lease Extensions, Notice of Entries, Tenant Charge invoices, Rent Processing, Print and Post, Property Key management, Email Inbox management (shared workload), advertising and managing tenancy applications.
  2. Advanced administrative skills including the use of the full Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), customer databases and tenancy management systems.
  3. High level organisational skills with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritise and maintain attention to detail.
  4. Enthusiastic with outstanding interpersonal skills, a creative approach to continuous improvement and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Experience working with, and empathy for, people from diverse backgrounds, people with challenging behaviours and people with multiple and complex needs.
  6. Strong customer focus with a desire to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers and a willingness to be part of a broad and dynamic team.
