As a result of an internal transfer opportunity, Unity is now seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join the Finance Team and support in the delivery of professional financial services.  Based at the Norwood office, this position will support the delivery of financial services to our Housing Team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will have significant experience in a fast paced finance setting including: banking receipting and reconciliations, processing of purchases and payments, preparation of invoices and financial reports. Experience within a Housing or Real Estate environment would be advantageous.

To be addressed in your application, key requirements for this role are:

  1. Previous finance or book keeping experience
  2. Proficient keyboard and computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  3. Previous experience and proven competence using accounting software is essential
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and high volumes of work, whilst meeting tight deadlines
  5. Qualification of Cert III or higher in administration, finance or business
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills aligned with a strong customer service ethic
