Welcome to Unity’s new look newsletter. Whilst Unity has produced regular newsletters for many years the majority of content, design and format are now led by a tenant editorial panel and tenant contributors and it is run along similar lines to those of any other newspaper. The result is a range of newsworthy items, including analysis of community issues which don’t shy away from politics and a new arts column. The Tag is intended as a vehicle for stimulating public debate as well as providing information and entertainment and I am pleased to be able to say that the views expressed by contributors are their own and do not necessarily represent Unity policy or opinion. I anticipate that given the energy, enthusiasm and capacity displayed by the editorial panel and other contributors this will be the first of many newsletters.
