Unity’s $23 million affordable housing project to boost Mid North economy

Unity invests in affordable housing in the Mid North

A $23 million investment in affordable housing in the Mid North is expected to boost the local economy. The project by Unity Housing has seen the development of more than 100 new houses targeted at low income earners, the elderly and people living with a disability, across 11 regional towns during 2014.
Unity Housing Company Chief Executive Officer Matthew Woodward said the development would nurture population growth by attracting skilled workers and their young families to the regions, as well as providing an economic boost for local business.
