New appointments bring increased capacity to Unity

Unity Housing has made two key appointments to its senior management team.

Unity Housing, South Australia’s largest and most innovative not for profit provider of community and affordable housing, has made two key appointments to its senior management team.

Adam Mellow has joined Unity Housing as Executive Manager, Assets, and brings extensive industry experience to the role, most recently with Housing SA.

As part of the executive team, Adam is responsible for managing Unity Housing’s existing asset portfolio and managing the delivery of new development projects.

“The rate of Unity’s growth, its highly regarded position within the industry and its desire to grow and improve is what most excites me about working for Unity,” Adam said.
“I hope to successfully deliver new and exciting development projects that will contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.”

With more than 16 years’ experience in the not for profit sector, primarily in disability housing and homelessness services, Andrew Davis has joined Unity Housing as Business Development Project Officer.
Andrew has also held various leadership roles in the private sector and is currently on the Boards of Shelter SA and the Australasian Housing Institute.

“I have a passion for social and affordable housing and addressing the major social challenge of homelessness,” Andrew said.

“My role at Unity Housing involves the development of sustainable homes for people who need them. We will do this through fostering partnerships, identifying opportunities, and developing projects that will grow our housing portfolio.

“Unity Housing is an innovative, highly professional, and client-focussed housing provider. In my new role I hope to contribute to the continuing success and sustainable growth of Unity Housing, and more broadly, to the development of the social and affordable housing sector.”
